Our Legacy S/S 2011 “Observations” Collection Lookbook

My friends at Our Legacy recently released their new lookbook for Spring/Summer 2011 titled “Observations”. This material has been hurtling around the web at high speed and now it seems to be on every website on earth. And i don’t really blame the sites, because Our Legacy have done a super cool job and i’ve always enjoyed their minimalist approach, not just in fashion, but also in their design in general.

See the lookbook after the jump.

This season we see more suits come into play, the trousers being cut perfectly near the ankle, and the blazer fitting slightly smaller than your conventional.

Frost Birgens Copenhagen S/S 2011 Collection

Frost Birgens Copenhagen is a creative and inspiring company co-owned by the ambitious trio Jakob Birgens, Simon Hepworth and Christian Kjaer. They are aiming to develope a company with the perfect mix of creativity, professional and structured working procedures. Characterized by subtle functional details, Frost Birgens mixes styles from past and present in an informal and playful way, balancing the familiar with the astounding. I really like how relaxed the collection is, no doubt inspired by some of the current trends in menswear.

JULIAANDBEN S/S 2011 Men’s Collection Look Book

Julia Heuse and Ben Klunker met as students at the prestigious Berlin design school ESMOD, and founded their eponymous fashion label, JULIAANDBEN, on graduating in 2006. The style often strikes a balance between commercial and conceptual, classic and avant-garde and mixes glamour with a unique Berlin street style.

The interaction of abstract and conceptual ideas between the designers is symbiotic and fuels designs that both challenge conventionality – such as boxy, oversized cuts or draped fabrics. Many of the materials used have been tie-dyed, bleached, moon-washed or aged to create different effects.

Lookbook: Hunting and Collecting S/S 2010 Collection

I think Hunting and Collecting is one of the most exciting newest retailers in Europe. With a well balanced line up of labels with the likes of Band of Outsiders, Bless, Cosmic Wonder Light Source, Opening Ceremony, Patrik Ervell amongst other Hunting and Collecting have compiled a compelling look. This look book showcases how well each label accompanies each other and I must admit that I am pretty impressed… I want to buy the whole store! See the look book after the jump.
