Downtown Calling New York City Premiere

In the late 70s, on the outside, a number of factors would lead many to believe New York City was in a shambles thanks to a weak economy, crime and corruption. Yet through all the socioeconomic rubble came some of the most creative movements ever witnessed through numerous different subcultures. Downtown Calling investigates the landscape and how those movements have had a lasting impact many years after the fact.
