Burberry presents its new S/S 2011 collection via this video shot on Brighton Beach by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino. The shoot features an appearance by British models Cara Delevingne and Jacob Young, reinforcing the brand’s synergy with British landscapes, weather and emerging talent. Enjoy!
Burberry digs into their archives to offer four modern takes on shearling wool coats. “Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey has worked with original outerwear from the Burberry archive, updating each to provide a protective, functional and relevant design for the modern man.” Three of the shearlings come in an updated aviator jacket cut while the fourth is a military inspired look that allows for removable of the liner in warmer settings.

I think the Burberry Shearling Aviator Hat with leather peak is awesome. Combine it with a classic bomber jacket and you will have a cool and classic aviator look this fall. It is both practical and stylish. More info and close up’s after the jump.
Well here’s another catch from the Burberry A/W show 2010 - a stone long sleeve box fit shirt in a lightweight stone washed denim. Epaulettes and two military patch pockets on chest. Button down mini collar, single cuffs, seven button placket, rounded tail ending. Small Mother-of-pearl buttons engraved with the Burberry Prorsum inscription. I thought the denim shirts were getting passé next season but Burberry obviously proved me wrong. They are still considered a musthave in your closet this winter. Get it here.
Speaking of Burberry, the super brand recently welcomed their new interactive ad campaign for A/W 2010 shot by well known photographer Mario Testino. The shoot features an interesting cast of British models and musicians which include Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Nina Porter, Sam Rollinson, Charlotte Wiggins, Caspar Smyth, Seb Brice, Douglas Booth, Gwilym Gold, Rory Cottam, Thomas Penfound and Samuel Fry. Now that the sun is here to stay Burberry has released a new collection of eye-wear that references iconic details from the Burberry archive as well as drawing inspiration from the season’s elegant ready-to-wear collections. New styles for men include acetate rectangular sunglasses with a graphic trademark Burberry check printed on the temple and a new rounded aviator style in light acetate. The colors for the men’s eyewear includes neutral tones of trench, tortoise, grey and black, mirroring the sombre colour palette of the men’s ready-to-wear collections. All styles have metal Burberry logo branding on the temples. Burberry eyewear is available online at Burberry.com and from Burberry stores and selected retailers worldwide.
