
One of the breakthrough talents at London’s MAN day, the men’s-wear event organized by New Gen and Fashion East, was J.W. Anderson. The 26-year-old designer’s proto-grunge-adventurer collection had raw energy but was well developed and produced, with clothes and accessories joining to offer a complete vision that was commercially viable but creatively uncompromising. Anderson worked on a collaboration with Dazed Digital and Oki-Ni.com to stream the show live and sell the collection online. Not surprisingly, it sold out instantly.
